About Lambda Jay

Lambda Jay, AKA Pyramid Skeme, AKA Jason L is an Artist and Music Producer creating experimental Hip Hop. His sound is a mixture of dirty, drifting analog synthesis and crunchy drum and percussion samples. The subject matter is discussion of the dystopian future that we're currently living in. If we have no choice but to live in this timeline, decorating the time with fitting sonic textures will make it more poetic and bearable, he believes.

Coming from Birmingham Alabama, a city with strong musical history, Jay began his underground musical career while studying Studio Art at the University of Alabama. As far as influences there are just too many to list, but basically every Hip-Hop, R&B, Jazz, Blues, Techno, House, and Rock artist who's ever existed. And many more.

His first project was released in 2007 under the name Jason L. While in college studying abroad in Osaka Japan. Jay is currently back in the studio working on a new project. The new music Will be about all the life that has happened since the Last release almost 20 years ago, and the retro futuristic state of our current society.
